1 Corinthians 26-31

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. god chose the lowly thing of this world and the despised thing-and the things that are not- to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God- that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 26-31

Where Things Are

Situations might not be ideal- something good can always be seen if I look with the right eyes.
Personalities may drive me crazy- laugh at my frustration.
Some say no tears show strength- I disagree.
Problems never stop coming- think of all the brain power gained from solving them.
More often than not the shower water scorches my skin- think of it as cleansing dirt away.
Some nights my roommate gives you nasty 2 week old food- think of those who don't have any.
The bed is as hard as a box spring (pretty sure it is)- I could be sleeping on the floor.
I was told this year would be the hardest- I view it as personal growth.
As the last few months pass by, the calendar fills up- No stress, it just allows color to fill the pages.
I never know where lunch will come from- My faith grows like a wild sunflower.
EVERYTHING is noodles- Beans will never fast so good.
No one sings harmony here- Perfect place to learn it myself ;)
My thoughts are on home- ONLY 6 WEEKS TO GO.
Departing Taiwan will tare my emotions apart- distance makes the heart grow fonder (so they day).
